As our very first blog post, we’re announcing the second iteration of our marketing website! This was a fully collaborative effort that took under one month from start to finish.
Where did we start?
One of our key advisors, Pat Cullen, introduced us to the Storybrand Framework. This quickly gave us a blueprint for how to structure the content of the site. Highly recommended reading for anyone interested in a modern approach to marketing site content.
What tech did we use?
After a quick discussion about the latest tools, we went with Webflow, which is a solid CMS and no-code website builder that Ben was very familiar with. Webflow has many modern web templates and is not too expensive.
Who wrote the words?
With actionable feedback from another key advisor, Michelle Wagner-Knapp, Ben and I (the founders) were able to put the content together for each section of the Storybrand framework. Yes we used ChatGPT for brainstorming ideas, but for the most part, those are human-made sentences that went through multiple iterations.
Where did you get the graphics?
Thankfully, we’ve worked with John Lin from Taste Labs in the past. He was incredibly generous and helpful in designing the relevant graphics that highlighted the key points of each section. Not to mention John helped us wordsmith as well to make our language more clear and effective.
This was one of most fun, efficient websites we’ve ever been a part of building and we’re ecstatic about sharing it with the world. Thanks to all who chipped in. Please let us know what you think!
